This Week's Top Story | |||||||||||||||||
![]() | On Thursday (June 25) Sammy Sosa shattered the HR record for most homeruns in any month in history. The record he broke lasted since 1937. On Tuesday (June 23) he even broke Willie Mays HR record of 17 set in 1965. Sosa now has 32 homeruns this season and still counting. What else can you say about Sammy Sosa, he's on FIRE, all I have to say is: He must be butter because he's on a roll.
Player Profile of the Week
![]() | To the left is a picture of Sammy Sosa. Sosa has been the hottest thing in baseball for the month of June. He has connected 12 times in his last 13 games! Also he has 23 homers and 45 RBI's in the last 26 games! He's already broken the record for most HR's in a month, what's next? The new HR king by breaking Maris's record? Being the greatest player in Cub's history? Only time will tell.
